Chunky Andean Wool is a single spun yarn made of 100% Peruvian highland wool from a natural crossbreed between Merinos and Corriedale sheep grazing in the Andes 2500-5000 km above sea level. The combination of both these fibres gives this yarn a gentle melange look.  

Chunky Andean Wool is soft and has a lovely stitch definition. You'll find it knits up quickly on larger needles and is suitable for knitting garments and accessories.

As with all Kaos Yarn's Chunky Andean Wool is spun in Peru at a family-owned and Fair Trade-certified mill, ensuring good conditions for animals, people and the environment.
